Leather

Weekly - Dusting your leather weekly is very important to keep leather pores free from dust particles. Simply wipe it with a soft cloth. Don’t under estimate this seemingly small task; it goes a long way in the long term care of your leather.

Spot Cleaning - As always the quicker you get to a spot or stain the greater success you will have. Most spills of food and beverages should be wiped up using a slightly damp cloth.

All other stains such as ink marks, grease, blood, urine, wax or gum should be removed using a professional leather cleaner which is when Master Steam Cleaning come in.

When you first place your new leather furniture be sure to call us for a high quality leather conditioner to protect it and to keep the leather supple. You should fully clean your leather furniture once or twice a year depending on usage using a professional leather cleaner. Pay special attention to wear surfaces, arms, backs and seats. When they start becoming a darker colour than the rest then it is time to give them a professional clean.

After a thorough cleaning we always apply the conditioner/protectant to ensure many years of trouble free service from your leather furniture.

What stains will be removed when I have my carpets cleaned?

A spot is a substance that is adhered to the carpet fibre, but has not become set. A stain is more advanced and may have become set.

A professional carpet cleaner will remove all spots (food, grease, mud, etc).

A professional carpet cleaner will have more problems removing a set or permanent stain compared to a spot. We carry a large amount of stain removal solutions for the removal of coffee, tea, blood, cola, urine, red wine etc. If the stain has not set and become permanent, stain removal can be successful.
